Welcome to the thirteenth entry in our Backyard Science “Alphabet” series. Today’s Bucket is brought to you by the letter “M”.
The Daily Bucket is a regular feature of the Backyard Science group. It is a place to note any observations you have made of the world around you. Insects, weather, meteorites, climate, birds and/or flowers. All are worthy additions to the bucket. Please let us know what is going on around you in a comment. Include, as close as is comfortable for you, where you are located. Each note is a record that we can refer to in the future as we try to understand the patterns that are quietly unwinding around us.

A lot more photos beyond the fold.
The “Museum Cats” are a pair of cats I often see sunning in the late afternoon in a well hidden spot near the Art Museum. Not sure how feral they are, or how many other people know they hang out there.
If anyone has not noticed yet I have skipped use of the word “Mountain”. Those entries will get their own special Bucket in a few days time.
