Medallion of shanikka's quilt
FloridaSNMOM is living with pain, anxiety over access to necessary medical care, and COPD. Loss of her Medicare has made for a Catch-22 situation -- where she cannot get firm diagnosis of and treatment for her painful and swollen injured neck without the MRI that is out of her financial reach. And finding the $700/month for the medications she needs to keep breathing is always nip and tuck. Every month. She lives in pain and cannot draw an easy breath.
Let's wrap FloridaSNMOM in love by making her a community quilt.
Detail of Oke's quilt
A community quilt contains messages of love and support from you transcribed by me in archival ink on muslin. These loving words from many people have a powerful effect for someone who is suffering. FloridaSNMOM will be able to enwrap herself in love anytime she is hurting, feeling alone, or frightened. She will feel your support -- and this is no small thing.
Clytemnestra's quilt, detail
My sister and I make our small living making these quilts. If you would like to contribute toward the cost of making FloridaSNMOM's quilt, here is a PayPal link -- or message me for an address to send a check. $15/message is suggested although some give more to cover for messages from those who cannot afford to donate. All messages are welcome, regardless.
