Shore Acres State Park was once the estate of Oregon pioneer lumberman and shipbuilder Louis J. Simpson. It is located south of Coos Bay, Oregon. This is a day use park located on 745 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean. A trail at the park leads down to a secluded ocean cove known as Simpson’s Beach.
