(Voting) Early Voting Is Happening, And It's Big! UPDATE 3 Hr. Wait Today In Cobb County Georgia by pollwatcher
Michael McDonald at the University of Florida does a wonderful job of collecting early voting stats and posting them over at ElectProject. He’s got some tweets about the very early voting and it’s on a pace to be BIGGER than the 2016 presidential year! Yes, it’s early but it’s a great start. I’m not sure there’s ever been a midterm election with a bigger turnout than a presidential year.
(Media) The Best of Democratic Campaign Ads by AKALib
Here is a sample of some of the best campaign ads run by Democratic candidates around the country. As is usually the case, Democratic campaign ads tend to be positive, uplifting, creative and make liberal use of humor, while Republican campaign ads tend to be dark, deceitful, and focus on fear and identity politics (so we won’t present any of them). (16 great ads)
(MD-Gov) The governor's mansion is theirs for the taking, if Maryland's Democrats want it by dwats
Ben Jealous, Maryland’s Democratic nominee for governor, is running an unconventional campaign in several ways. One of the most notable of these is that he is running as an underdog, which no Democrat has done in a statewide race in 38 years. Since Charles Mathias, a moderate Republican, in an era when those actually existed, won reelection to his US Senate seat in 1980, Democrats have won all but two statewide races since (plus Mondale ‘84 and Dukakis ‘88 also lost here).

Welcome to Election Roundup, formerly known as Election Diary Rescue. Look for this down ticket collection every Monday through the election. The Roundup team has compiled and linked down ticket stories since 2006. Archives
Election Roundup gives down ticket stories a second chance for exposure and hopefully encourages people to write, knowing their stories from the previous week will be listed every Monday. The ER team scans every DK post and republishes applicable stories to our Election Diary Rescues list which only contains down ticket work. We have been republishing since early this year so there is a wealth of writing there and we update constantly, please enjoy.

Writers can help the ER team and readers by identifying the race in the beginning of the title like this:
(NY-Sen) (FL-14) (GA-Gov) (AZ-StSen) (MN-StHs-07). Readers will be scanning a list of stories and this standard method of quick identification is really helpful.
