Thursday, we had a match between Jay Inslee and John Hickenlooper. As Xapulin wrote, it was like Roma against Atletico Madrid. Glad someone’s in the spirit. And, as a person with 50% Italian heritage, it was nice to see Roma, er, Inslee victorious in an impressive 7-0 romp!
Today, it’s Match 17, from Group E:
Steve Bullock vs. Amy Klobuchar
Hurray! It’s two more declared candidates! It’s one declared against one undeclared. We can decide based on policy and not whether someone may or may not be actually running, or whether on not Daddy Bullock or Daddy Klobuchar gave Kos (or better still, me) $500,000 to ensure his child advanced to the next round. (see: college admission scandal)
So, standard disclaimer: you can vote for one, “Either”, or “Neither”. Remember, if you like only one candidate, vote for that candidate. If you like both, choose “Either”, and if you dislike both (or, just don’t like either of them enough), choose “Neither”.
In other news: It was suggested that we move Eric Swalwell, who still hasn’t declared, into Group F, replacing Michael Bloomberg. We can then effectively eliminate Group C, and have three people from each group advance, plus one last wild card last place finisher. Now if you think this is a good idea, please comment as such in the comments section. If you think it’s a bad idea, also make a comment about this. I don’t have to change this before Monday, but we’d do Swallwell-Yang Monday, and then Castro-Swalwell on Tuesday (Castro-Bloomberg is currently scheduled). I need to hear from you, unless you just want me to do whatever I please. :)
One more thing: Is there someone declared for the Democratic nomination that I don’t have listed? If so, let me know. I try to stay up-to-date, but it’s tough.

Each team will receive a score based on the integer value of their percentage of vote divided by 10. You can vote one, the other, Either, or Neither. "Either" and "Neither" are considered ties; the score of the game will be the score of the higher-placing candidate if either, and the score of the lower placing candidate if neither.
For example, Obama beat Clinton 39%-29%, with “Either” getting 29%, and “Neither” getting 23%, the final score would be Obama 3, Clinton 2. If the votes had been Either 60%, Obama 21%, Clinton 19%, Neither 0%, the score would be Obama 2 Clinton 2.
Wins are worth 3 points, while a tie is worth one.
Forfeits will be scored as 3-0 victories. Double forfeits will be scored as 0-0.
