I love this Wellstone-inspired bio ad from Blue America endorsed Wisconsin candidate Shaun Murphy-Lopez and I think you will, too.
Shaun needs thousands of us to WATCH IT RIGHT NOW.
Shaun is out and open and married in rural Wisconsin and his campaign in WI HD-49 has the power to help change thousands of rural LGBTQ lives inside and outside his district if we help him.
A better future is possible.
But for that to happen Shaun needs just a very basic level of money to get his name out there in his district. (I spoke with his campaign manager, and, trust me, your dollars will go directly to helping Shaun create mailers and postcards and help power volunteers to introduce him to his district, which is much more Democratic-leaning than you would think given how outside the national spotlight Shaun’s race is right now! Hint, Shaun’s district is rated +4 Democratic, but has a popular GOP incumbent.)
We can do something about that!!
Our other video tonight comes from Deb Andraca running a super competitive race in Wisconsin HD-23 that may prove to be a tipping point in allowing Democrats to block a Republican super-majority in Wisconsin.
It’s called “Healthier”, and, while it’s less snazzy and more ‘professional’, it packs quite a punch:
Tonight, on a night when the GOP Senate is working overtime to put a Supreme Court Justice in place who will overturn the ACA, Deb’s message is powerful.
A trip to the ER shouldn’t cost a family an entire years lunch money.
But that’s the USA and the Wisconsin that we live in.
Now, Deb Andraca has been endorsed by Sister District and Barack Obama and a ton of great individuals and organizations. But what she could also use, is you.
Donating to this race could help Deb win the crucial power in Wisconsin...and put Biden Harris over the top in a state that Clinton narrowly lost.

And the alternative, which we’ve all lived through, really, really stinks.
