user 211479. Here on the Kos, what I have learned is that people generally expect the author of a diary to provide a fully understandable article, including links to source articles and other information that helps the reader to comprehend the message.
It is common for people to demand "links" to things that could easily be googled. I admit I used to feel that was somewhat lazy too... but it's the culture here, and it does save time for us all when people provide links, or in this case just provide the information on what this acronym stands for in the diary.
Sure, we can go google it, but the author could also just tell us. It is also very common around here for commenters on a diary to ask for edits or improvements in the diary to help make it better. It doesn't mean they don't like the author.
