Perhaps you may have caught yourself realizing the Historic moment you witnessed today. I have spoken a few times about this History unfolding in front of us. Would we recognize it for what it is? Would we cherish the moment? Would we understand the impact of the moment? Follow me over the jump and I'll give whatever insight I can offer and my perspective of it all.
So John McFear stepped into the mess he made and now will have to pay for it.. good! Its about damn time. What have we Dems been saying about the Republicans now for the last 40 years? No good, hate based, bible thumping, divide and conquer, steal form the public every chance they get to feed their own pocketbooks and their friends at Big Oil, Big Pharm and Big Biz, sling hatred and fear at every chance... and so on and so on.. now finally the country realizes what this train wreck has revealed. John McCain, you and airhead can take your lame-as selves home and take all your cronies, and Repuke friends as well because you have reached the END of your campaign and the end of all these years of Republican led mismangement, stupidity and greed fest.
And I say: Thank the Supreme Architect of the Universe for it! I can only hope that this country has finally learned and will never allow itself to vote into office anymore village idiots (Bush), meglomanics (Cheney), old angry fools (McCain) or people who have enough empty space in their heads to fly the Starship Entreprise through (Palin, Quayle, Guliani, etc, etc)
I know we will work harder than ever in these last days.. and we MUST, but when we look back at this week come next year, we will say without doubt that THIS was the end for McLame/imPalin!
Its November 5th, the day after the election night and all the exhaustive editorials, coverage and opinions.. what do you think the morning paper's headline would be? What would it be if YOU wrote it? What will an Obama victory feel like? More after the fold.
After a long time away, as many of you know that I had been caring for my father who passed away two months ago, I have returned. I am glad to see this community and its fine people again.
To all my liberal, progressive and Democratic friends... can you believe this historic precipice we stand on?
A Landslide is coming folks. An African American Man will become president. Our standing in the world will return. Our own home troubles will linger for a while but will be solved. Hope will once again fill us. Our greatness as a nation will come back to us with gusto. and we will bring this lie of a War to an end!
Thank you Senator Obama! Thank you Senator Biden!
Yes we can? I say Yes we WILL!
So Mote It Be!
On that fateful night later this year when we all go to vote for the next President and the rest of the ticket down the line; when we all are sitting around the television and waiting for the returns, let me do a little prognosticating and given some possible insights as to what to look for and the possible outcomes for that important night. Read on!

So now we take a new look at the best VP choices for Senator Obama. I do not believe it is too early to talk about this as I believe Barack will now become our Party Leader. (No offense to Hillary Clinton supporters here. She is great and as I am a loyal and lifetime Democrat, I appreciate her time in this campaign, but it is apparent that it is time for the party to come together and rally behind Barack). So let us look at what I feel is the top 7 candidates for Senator Obama.

So, we enter into an amazing moment. Tomorrow of course is Superdupermegagiantic Tuesday, and though it will NOT bring us Dems a leader, it will make the vetting process even more crucial. Barack or Hill? Hill or Barack? Or maybe, Even Steven??? For all you polictical junkies, you will be watching at the edge of your seat as the returns come in. So what to look for, how does one know which way the political wind is blowing? Well I have some ideas after the fold:

My fellow Americans, tonight I say to you that the State of this Union is Fragile at best and Fraught with Dangers untold at worst. Tonight my fellow Americans we face one of the toughest roads ahead that we have ever faced since the Great Depression.
Though I am new here to the Daily Kos, I am not new to politics, blogs, threads or giving my two cents worth of opinions. I am proud to be a Shameless Agitator. What does that mean exactly? It means to be an activist in politics, an advocate for a cause or causes and a person willing to "go to bat" for those people who feel they have no voice or no presence in the wheels of government. Here's my story:
February 5th. Remember that date. 20.. count them 20 states hold their primaries and caucuses. Twenty who's total delegate count add up to 2,062. That's just over 50% of the delegates that would be needed to win the nomination. I could have never imagined super Tuesday looking this way; still this is how it goes. Imagine for a moment that YOU are the candidate and are facing this huge block of states that will be in play. What would be your strategy? Where would you spend your advertising dollars? Where would you be in person the most? Are there any states you really don't want to put alot of effort into in favor of larger delegate rich states? Lets take a look at Superduper Tuesday:
