These are scary times for working people. After nine straight months of job loss, a housing crisis, and a collapse on Wall Street, we need to hear the candidates present clear plans for turning our economy in a new direction. Zach Mischo, a mail handler in Denver, says "first and foremost in everybody’s mind I think right now is the financial crisis. Every one of us of is feeling the effects of that and is going to for a long time to come."
McCain’s recent "I feel your pain" rhetoric on the economy simply doesn’t wash with working families. His record is clear. He’s spent more than a quarter century in Washington getting rid of rules governing Wall Street and supporting CEOs instead of families.
