GOP pundits and Fox News flunkees are doing their best to claim that we can't judge Mitt Romeny for his gay bashing of John Lauber. It was a prep school prank! That wans't the elderly Mitt Romey that's running for president. But that's a lie. Breaking down the attack on Lauber has served Mitt well in the business world. This is what Mitt did at Bain Capital.
Mitt singled out Lauber for being gay with his hair. Mitt looked for weak companies while at Bain that were ripe for picking.
He ordered his toadies to hold Lauber down. Decades later, he'd order his Bain toadies to grab these companies and pin them down.
Mitt pulled out the scissors and hacked away on Lauber's hair. At Bain, Mitt would butcher a company's workforce to fit his vision of what the companies needs to look like his kind of company.
Mitt didn't have to worry about any consequences from assaulting and butchering Lauber because he was golden. At Bain, Mitt didn't have to worry about how he destroyed these companies cause he made a lot of money for Bain. They weren't going to punish him for driving a company into the ground.
Decades later, Mitt has no memory of this horrifying assualt that he led since he only recalls the good old days of prep school and those pranks and hijinks. While at Bain, Mitt remembers the money and doesn't seem to think he destroyed any lives when he butchered a company.
Mitt Romeny made his fortune at Bain by applying the lessons of assaulting Lauber. He's still that Prep School menace. This is why this isn't just a youthful prank.
