OK-Gov: On the NYT’s site, it says that 5% of precincts are reporting in Oklahoma, but in reality, the proportion of votes that’s already been tallied is higher, due to a sizable chunk of early votes (that don’t raise the “precincts reporting” count). For Democrats, former state Attorney General Drew Edmondson is the heavy favorite and has a wide 66-34 lead.
Republicans, though, face a super-tight race that is certain to head to a runoff. Former Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett is at 29, while Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb has just a 24.5 to 24.1 lead on wealthy businessman Kevin Stitt for the second spot. Everyone else is in single digits.
