OH-12: With just Franklin and Delaware’s precincts left to count (save for a single precinct in Balderson’s home of Muskingum County), Democrat Danny O’Connor maintains a sparse 673-vote lead. The key question on everyone’s mind—from WHERE in Delaware County are the remaining votes. It is a very sharply split county, with the close-in communities to Columbus being quite blue, but the outlying rural areas blood red.

OH-12: Hold on to your butts. This one is going down to the wire. A handful of Franklin County precincts (only 17 left to count in Democrat Danny O’Connor’s home base), and about one-sixth of Delaware County just dropped. And it actually allowed O’Connor to edge out to a slightly larger edge. He now leads Republican Troy Balderson by 1433 votes.

Missouri: Here is some early, but unambiguously good, news. A state referendum on the state’s right-to-work law is showing early signs of being a huge condemnation of the anti-labor legislation. With 12% of precincts reporting, the “No” vote to overturn the law is leading “Yes” by a substantial 63-37 margin.

MO-Sen (R): No shock here, but the AP has called the Republican primary here for state attorney general Josh Hawley, who beat a crowded field with a modest 59 percent of the vote. This puts him in a November showdown with Democratic incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill, who is cruising in her primary with 81 percent of the vote.
