So, I was having problems coming up with a good topic for tonight. I had some ideas (A focus on some other Congressional race like BG's on Monday, the edn of daze that the Right seemed to be focused on for yesterday, a tribute to Billy Joel's "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant", a discussion of my Craigslist search for housing). I had a good happy story, but I'm saving that for Friday.
However, fate, as it always does, intervened. I happened to take my grandmother up to the supermarket today (being the good grandson that I am). She needed some time to get her things, so I hung out and looked at stuff. At one point, one of the cashiers happened upon me and had wanted to ask me a question because she thought I was one of the Loss Prevention Representatives (you know, security).
I found this funny, but then it got me thinking. Where are the loss prevention representatives that will prevent the crap that this Administration is pulling? Then I remembered, that's us! :) That's another part of Top Comments. By highlighting many of the people who have been calling out the bs, being the check that balances what has become Bush's crap, it helps show off the best, brightest, funniest, weirdest, and heck, even the other stuff too. So, keep being the loss prevention types that you are and make sure this country isn't lost to the clowns that are the far-right.
So, now that all of that is done, here are the big guns for the night. First, if you want to send along your shizzle to the Top Commenteers, please email your good stuff to topcomments at gmail dot com.
