racheltracks' quilt
Leaves on the Current is in treatment for a blood borne cancer that has affected her spine. Her husband, teacherken, has been keeping the community apprised of Leaves' progress with treatment and their adjustment to this big change in their lives -- his most recent diary about her is here. In keeping with the groundswell of community support for Leaves on the Current, we are making a community quilt for her -- so she can take our love with her when she goes to treatment. Her chemo starts soon...
We are 17 messages short for this quilt.
racheltracks' quilt, showing the backing
What is a community quilt? It is a quilt containing messages of love and support from you, transcribed by me in archival ink on muslin. My sister and I then incorporate the messages into colorful quilts that radiate good feeling. They have a feeling to them that never washes out.

It takes time and material to make a community quilt. If you would like to help with this one, here is a PayPal link -- or message me for an address if you prefer a check. $10/message is suggested but some give more to cover for messages by people who cannot afford to donate. We so appreciate your support.
