Inspired by the front page article about VFW Vet Bill Moyer and his bullshit protector, I just added a Dem friendly version on my website based on the bullshit protector shown in the photo:

The "bullshit protector" is a great way to protect yourself from GOP or punditry bullshit and spin, when spewed by the likes of George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh, or even your local GOP wing-nuts.

    Obviously, the intent here is to do the opposite: protect against bullshit.

    I second bumblebums' suggestion: bullshit deflector, unless someone can come up with something better.

    The first thing I thought when I saw them was "wow, I can wear this in meetings with students who miss exams", but I quickly realized that any meeting called by administration was a much better use of the technology.

    It isn't so much about the importance of washing dishes as it is about as actually getting them clean!  Somebody thinks that lots of soap and hot water and a minimum of elbow grease is the key to washing dishes.  Then I go to put them away and toss half of them back into the sink.  The dog gets them cleaner!

    Couple of ideas:

    1) Recall W's statement that he has to catapult the propaganda in order to reach the American people. What we need is a Catapulted Propaganda Deflector...perhaps executed as a prophylactic type latex device that covers the ear like a taut diaphram...but I'd call it a neo-conned'em.

    It would of course be worn on the right ear only.

    2) Something is needed for the left ear.  Perhaps a Liberty Bell Ear Ring...ring out freedom, liberty, justice.
