The biggest exploding cases of feces covered ordinance this week in the Russia scandal are clearly the fact that Paul Manafort was under FISA surveillance during that campaign apparently because suspected Russian operatives were reportedly recorded discussing Manafort and efforts by the Trump campaign asking for their help during the election and that’s he’s been told he will be indicted.
Which, by definition, would be yet another act of attempted collusion immediately following their attempt to accept “negative campaign information on Hillary Clinton” from what they were told was a Russian Government Lawyer. Not to mention Felix Sater and Michael Cohen asking Russia for help to get Trump Tower Moscow built right up until last January.
What’s interesting is how trying to push Manafort to flip by revealing he was under surveillance may have backfired as he almost immediately called for the DOJ Inspector General to investigate why his secret FISA warrants were made public and being even more ballsy has demanded all of his FISA transcripts be released. Be careful what you wish for Paulie because one of those intercepts includes an email where he promised to provide one of his previous bosses allegedly Russian mob connected Putin ally and Oligarch Oleg Deripaska a personal briefing on the status of the Trump campaign just before the Republican National Convention where they ultimately blocked an anti-Russia platform plank that would have aided Ukraine then lied about doing it for weeks. So exactly who was Manafort working for during that campaign, Trump or Putin?
Now we have the revelations that Russia used fake Facebook accounts using stolen pictures to make them look American to put up 3000 fake ads targeting swing voters in the U.S., but yet Trump is still calling Russia a “hoax” complaining the media didn’t talk enough about “Crooked Hillary.” Like, seriously, dude? They covered all her scandals 24/7, fake ones and not, then covered every one of your rallies and various public brain farts providing you over $2 Billion in free media and you’re still whining you should’ve had more? Facebook reaches 1.8 Billion people worldwide and 214 Million Americans so it’s more much powerful than “the fake media” anyway.
And what’s even more interesting than all that is how the Trumpsters are so nervous there might be Mueller Moles in the White House with undercover microphones they are attempting to push back and sabotage the investigation, laying the groundwork for Mueller to be fired while Chuck Grassley is planning to issue subpoenas TO THE FBI because Mueller won’t let congress talk to some of Comey’s staff who would be cooperating witness to his claims about Trump. He says it would “compromise their investigation” since people were in the room for some of Trump’s phone calls with Comey demanding his loyalty and could “break the tie” on the He Said/He Said aspect of the obstruction case. Grassley is also demanding to know if the FBI ever warned the Trump campaign that they were in contact with Russians, which yes, is exactly as stupid as it sounds since it takes two to do the contact Tango doesn’t it?
One last thing: Anthony Scarimucci says that Steven Bannon has “White Nationalist Tendencies” WHAT!!! Who knew? Ok, I mean besides everyone?
Here’s a bit on Facebook and the spread of false news via Ari Melber.
