I was given a warning about my last diary, which I titled "Fag."

I apologize for not being more clear. I could've fleshed out the thinking in posting it.

I do want to re-visit things--not to incite--but simply to offer up more food for thought for anyone who cares to consider such.

Below is late work from a fellow American, rebuttal to Anti-Conventionists.

It is ironic that Trusted Users of Daily Kos make the same arguments against a convention as members of the John Birch Society. JBS has been frightening Americans away from the convention clause of Article V for four decades, saying a convention will re-write the Constitution.

The Constitution provides an institution for deliberation, a place for reasoned and thoughtful debate to occur, for rationality to triumph. With the arrival of the mass media and the Internet, however, something unexpected has occurred: instead of reasoned exchanges, our population has segregated itself into like minded and self-confirming cliques of opinion that have bred extremism and irrationality rather than rationality.

With all the rain here, I wanted to see what some of the waterfalls high up in the mountains looked like. I had noticed one from down by the beach, just a little slip of white, which I knew was water, so I had to go find it, which meant a serious effort of crawling under and rolling over the tops of chapparal. These were taken in the Santa Ynez Mountains above Goleta, California. I got a little patch of poison oak, not too bad though considering.

It's pouring rain here on the west coast. I had a working lunch today with someone here in Santa Barbara. We've created an intiative for the California ballot. Will it gain signatures? Who knows, I just like the fact it exists.

Associated Press/HuffPost had mention of Biden, Russia, and the WTO.

As you may or may not know, the WTO is the brain-trust of multinational corporate power. When the WTO is mentioned people should pay attention, because that's where the decisions are made which affect everything else.
