Severe Weather Liveblog is a collective effort to keep Kossacks safe when a large severe weather outbreak takes place. These blogs will be posted as needed, based on user-interaction (comments) and evolution of the severe weather event.
If you have emergency information that needs to be added to the diary (reports of tornadoes on the ground, emergency information telephone numbers, etc.), please indicate so in the subject line of the comment to lessen the delay in posting it to the diary.
Right now, aside from myself, the editors of Severe Weather Liveblog are not4morewars, boatsie and Predictor. If you'd like to help, drop me a message.
Please keep in mind that any Severe Weather Liveblogs posted are not places for tasteless cracks at other people's expense. Post cheap political/social shots towards those affected at your own risk.
The line of thunderstorms is continuing to move deeper into the southeast, with the major threat transitioning to damaging winds from a tornado threat. However, an isolated tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
The SPC says that a watch is possible for southern Alabama (me!) as a line of storms begins to get its act together over southern Mississippi. Cities in the target of the line of storms include Raleigh NC, Columbia SC, Macon GA, Montgomery AL and Mobile AL.
If all goes according to plan, this will be the last severe weather liveblog for this event. As I said last night (and can't say enough), I really appreciate the support you guys gave me through this outbreak. Without you guys, none of these would have been possible. Let's hope we don't have to do this again for a long, long time.

Updates
UPDATE 1: (646PM CST)
I have to look for reasons to update the diary now. That's a very good thing. Here's the line of storms:
UPDATE 2: (654PM CST)
A new severe thunderstorm watch is up for a few counties on the NC/SC border. Some hail and wind is a possibility, so if you live anywhere near Florence, SC, keep an eye out.
UPDATE 3: (708PM CST)
About to have a good storm here in Mobile. No warnings or watches up for us, but I'll let you know (with a video, perhaps) what happens.
UPDATE 4: (752PM CST)
It's raining. That's it. Damn weather. It looks like the storms are dying down. I'll keep posting updates as needed, but it's looking promising that the next you'll hear from me is in a storm recap tomorrow afternoon.
UPDATE 5: (848PM CST)
Stick a fork it in, this storm is DONE! Thank the baby Ceiling Cat and whatnot. See ya next time, folks.
