Several hours before the Republican presidential candidates even took the stage, (former?) front-runner Donald Trump was predicting that their their third debate would be "unfair."
Although Trump's prediction proved accurate, you certainly didn't need to be a brain surgeon/snake oil salesman to see that one coming; I mean, the writing was literally on the wall.
CNBC, which hosted the debate, is a well-known hotbed of liberalism.
And so, it was hardly surprising that, unlike the recent Democratic presidential debate—where the candidates were tossed softballs—the questions posed by CNBC's moderators were clearly designed
to expose the Republican candidates'
greatest weaknesses.
As it turned out, Jeb! didn't need any help with that; he came to the debate prepared to expose his own weaknesses—as did John Kasich.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the spectrum, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz all showed themselves to be quite adept at lying with a straight face.
Also, too ... Carly Fiorina.
But, in the end, it was Trump who came out on top of all the unscientific post-debate polls—without any help from his daddy.
